I really can’t believe September is already here and almost over! I’ve been in school for 4 or 5 weeks, and it’s football season! (#HailState) This week has brought back the beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte and our short-lived cold front in Starkville this weekend brought out the long sleeves for just a couples days.
Fall is one of my favorite seasons; I love the baking, the change in scenery, and most of all, the weather. Thank goodness the temperature is dropping for good soon, I am SO over summer.
Here’s a few end-of-summer things I am looking forward to!

I don’t know if you knew this about me, but I’m obsessed with scary/horror/thriller movies. It doesn’t matter if it’s gory, spooky, or just kind of dumb, as long as it involves ghosts or chainsaws and keeps you at the edge of your seat, I’m all about it.
I’ve been waiting for The Visit to come or for about a month now. From the previews it looks like a normal visit to grandma’s house goes wrong when grandma is…possessed or something? All I know is I’m going to have some trouble finding a friend to go with me!
My buds in Better Off just released their second album, Milk, a couple days ago and I’ve already listened to it at least 30 times already, and that’s being modest. The first thing that attracted me to this album is definitely the artwork. It’s hilarious and instantly makes me hungry for a pb&j!
I’ve been a Better Off fan since I first heard their self-titled album about a year ago and finally got to see them about a month ago at The House of Blues. If you want to rock out while all up in your feels, check it out. You can stream Milk in the link above.
Though it’s not exactly fall right now, it’s not too soon to plan out all the fall essentials I need. I’ve always been a fan of cooler weather; I can plan out outfits easier and I HATE the humidity that comes with summer, especially here in Mississippi.
I’ve just always associated dark lips with fall. The lipstick I’ve had my eye on is Hang Up by MAC, it’s a pretty reddish color that I can pair with pretty much anything!
I’ve always heard great thing about spin class but I haven’t had the opportunity to go. Okay, that’s a lie, I’ve been nervous about going because I’m scared I won’t be able to keep up but reading this post from the Huffington Post put me mind at ease.
The description for the Early Bird Class I’ll be attending says it includes climbs, sprints, hill intervals, and jumps that will guarantee an early morning sweat. Well that’s exactly what I need since I’ve been slacking in the active department lately. I have friends who’ve been before and loved it and it’s offered for free at MSU so I need to take advantage of this opportunity!
